A new co-teacher sees a short waiting note until their groups are chosen, so no one lands in the whole class by accident.
The whole class, or just some groups
Giving a co-teacher the whole class is free. Picking specific groups for each one is part of Lecturer Pro.
Boundaries that hold
A co-teacher limited to certain groups sees only those groups on the Overview, in Reports, in People and in the grading export. The rest of the class is invisible to them, not just read-only.
Students stay the assignees
Teachers are never assignees on a group's board, so tasks, Participation and the grading export stay about the students.
Coordinators
A second admin seat, not a second owner. Promote a co-teacher you trust to Coordinator. They can invite and manage other teachers, choose who covers which groups, edit the board template and share the class link, while the class itself stays yours.

Promoting a co-teacher to Coordinator is free, and handing them back to an ordinary co-teacher is one click.
Always the whole class
A Coordinator covers every group, the same as the owner, and only the owner can promote or demote one.
