Invite another lecturer into your class

Whoever accepts lands in the class as a teacher, with every group board open to them. You show up as the coordinator; they show up as themselves, with no role label attached. If the person is already in your class as a student, promote them from the Roster tab instead.

Inviting, removing and promoting teachers stays with the coordinator alone, as does adding, reordering and deleting groups. This is free on every account.

Give each teacher only their own groups

A narrowed teacher sees their groups in Monitor, Integrity, Participation and the Roster, and can open those boards. Everything else in the class is invisible to them rather than merely read-only: another teacher's groups, another teacher's students, another teacher's boards.

One deliberate speed bump: deleting a group that is some teacher's only group now stops and tells you who to re-scope first, rather than quietly promoting them to the entire class on the way out. Limiting a teacher to specific groups is a Lecturer Pro feature. Inviting them is not.

Grading export

The CSV gives you one row per student: tasks assigned, completed, overdue and finished after the deadline, completion percentage, description words and edits, comments and comment words, each integrity flag counted separately, and the date they were last active. The PDF covers the same ground one group at a time.

Word counts in particular are trivially inflated by padding text, which is why the file calls all of this activity rather than achievement. A student who is on your roster but never signed up reads as blank rather than zero, because “never turned up” and “did nothing” are different findings. Grading export is a Lecturer Pro feature.

The six educator tabs used to sit in a sideways scroller behind a fade, and Settings, being last, was the easiest one to never find. Account settings had the same problem with eleven destinations, and its group headings were hidden entirely on small screens. Both are now vertical lists. Desktop is unchanged.

Opening the sidebar on a board no longer slides the board completely off screen. A strip of it stays visible, and tapping that strip closes the drawer.

Joining a class now needs a verified email

This is the one change existing students will feel. Joining a class now requires a verified email address, for everyone, so every account is tied to an address its owner confirmed. The email already goes out at signup, so this is one extra click on a message students were sent anyway. If a student never received it, resending from the verification screen now brings them back to your class automatically once they click the new link, so they do not have to dig out the original invite.

And a batch of fixes

Editing a task's description and its priority at nearly the same moment could let one overwrite the other, and clicking straight from one task to the next could silently drop a description you had just typed. A description edit now appears immediately instead of looking like it had failed until you refreshed. Columns can be renamed from the column menu, which means from the keyboard, and screen readers no longer announce the pinned Start and Done columns as unavailable. The priority filter got its icons back, a failed attachment returns a message you can act on, and the Roster CSV import row lines up.
