One email a day, not one for everything

Mentions, assignments, comments on your tasks, and task moves have all created a notification inside Kanbedu, which works if you happen to have Kanbedu open and does nothing if you don't. Once a day, everything you missed now also arrives as a single email: what happened, on which task, and a link straight to it.

It's on by default and lives under Settings → Notifications as “Daily email summary,” one toggle, off whenever you want.

Every import link is personal

A class roster imported from CSV now hands each student their own join link, the same way a co-teacher invite already worked, rather than the whole class sharing one link. Resending one invite or bulk-resending the list keeps each person's link their own.

Overdue means one thing now

A task card, the Monitor tab and the analytics charts each decided on their own when a deadline had passed, and for most of the day they disagreed. A task due today could sit unflagged on the board while Monitor already counted it overdue. All three now use the same rule the card always used: a task is overdue once its deadline day has fully passed, so nothing is late on the day it is due.

The same fix reaches the grading export, where it mattered most. Work handed in during the day it was due could be recorded as completed late in the exported CSV. It is now counted on time, and the overdue column in that export agrees with what you see on the board.

Group boundaries hold in three more places

A co-teacher limited to certain groups is meant to stay inside them everywhere. Three paths did not: the grading export, the board preset every future group board is built from, and importing a roster CSV with no group column. All three now stay inside whatever groups a teacher actually covers, the same as clicking through the UI directly. Coordinators and class owners are unaffected, and a co-teacher who covers the whole class still sees the whole class.

The class invite link and QR code are the class owner's to share now too; a co-teacher no longer sees them at all, not just in the UI.

Smaller things

Undoing a column deletion no longer tells everybody they were assigned to, or moved off, work they never stopped being assigned to. This changelog has a public page of its own now instead of living only inside Settings, the Policies page now also explains which updates get an announcement and which ship quietly, and the credits page names the people who helped build this.
