Default Board
Where Kanbedu drops you after login is now something you choose instead of something that just happens, comments can be deleted again without leaving a hole in the thread, a bug report tells you when it's been sorted, and a batch of small roster and board fixes.
Pick where you land
Settings → Boards has a “Default board” row now that actually does something: pick any of your personal boards, a class board, or a class you teach, and that's where logging in takes you. An educator who lives in one class all semester no longer gets dropped on a personal board every morning.
Nothing picked still works the way it always did, you land on the top board in your sidebar. If a saved choice stops existing (a board gets deleted, a class gets archived, you leave a class), Kanbedu quietly falls back the same way instead of erroring.
Take a comment back
Comments can be deleted again. The text goes for everyone, but the comment itself doesn't vanish: a short line stays where it was saying it was deleted, so the replies underneath still have something to point at.
You can take back your own. On a class group board the educator can remove anyone's, which gives lecturers a way to moderate a thread they didn't have before. The thread always says which of the two happened, so nobody has to guess whether something broke. A deleted comment also stops counting toward participation and the grading export straight away.
Know when your report is sorted
Filing a bug report through Support & Feedback used to go quiet after you sent it. Now, once it's marked resolved, you get a notification saying so. Nothing to configure, it just tells you.
Smaller things
A co-teacher waiting to be assigned groups in a class that then got archived was told to sit tight forever; they're now told the class is archived instead. The high contrast setting outlines a settings toggle that was hard to see in dark mode. A comment that failed to post no longer disappears, the text you typed comes back so you can try again. Dragging a task card no longer wipes its own notes count. Clearing a group's name and clicking away no longer leaves the box stuck looking blank. Searching your settings no longer draws a doubled line between the rows that match. The switch that publishes a board to the web now shows an outline when you tab to it. Importing a large roster finishes faster. The status page now reads as a timeline: incidents sit under the date they started, a resolved one says so and when, and every time on the page is in UTC so it lines up with whatever else you're looking at.
